Lessons Learned--9/23
In reference to the storyboard, I learned how to differentiate between a trailer and slide shows. A slide show usually contains a random collection of photos/images, but a trailer will include a more purposeful articulation of ideas through text and images. A successful trailer will include a mix of text, images, and questions designed to introduce a topic and tease the audience.
In the latter part of the lesson, it was inspiring to see data on how much the digital divide has lessened over time, particular among various income levels. This is in large part because more and more people have access to tablets and smartphones--which have also become much more affordable over time. After viewing this data, I am definitely more inspired to focus on the digital disconnect rather than the digital divide.
